Facing a zero-tolerance immigration system and the relentless threat of deportation, an undocumented immigrant in Minnesota reflects upon faith, recovery, redemption, and the likelihood of being separated from his family.

Impact Production, Masa from the North Country

After opening a family tortilleria in Minneapolis, Chef Gustavo Romero and his wife Kate, rising stars in the world of Mexican cuisine, embark on a mission: to revive and reimagine Mesoamerican heirloom corn for the Midwest Corn Belt.

Energy Verde, CERTs’ First Latine Community Energy Ambassadors Cohort

Community Energy Ambassadors advance clean energy projects within their communities. Through a combination of training and project implementation, Ambassadors gain valuable insights into energy efficiency and renewable energy topics, as well as access to resources and connections.

Monarca Movement has created the first Latine Community Energy Ambassadors cohort, consisting of 6 members representing sectors including real estate, residential contracting, education, and economic development.

Speaking Engagements & Class Projects

Monarca Movement engages in public presentations and media interviews. We also support colleges and universities to bridge community and the classroom.

Our team has been featured in the press and has contracted with higher education institutions including Swarthmore College, Macalester College, and the University of Minnesota.
